Yes. The official Instagram API only works with professional accounts (Business or Creator). Switching is free and takes about a minute in the Instagram app under Settings → Account type.
Never. You connect through Meta's official Business Login for Instagram, on Instagram's own screens. Socliz only receives the permissions you approve, and you can disconnect at any time from Socliz or from your Instagram settings.
Only your own account's data, and only what's needed for the features you use: your comments, your direct messages, your media for scheduling, and your account insights. We don't collect data about other people's accounts — and Instagram content is never stored long-term. It's held in a temporary cache for a maximum of 24 hours, then deleted automatically.
